Spelling doesn’t have to be boring or stressful. With a little imagination and creativity, you can help your child remember difficult words more easily—and have fun doing it!
🟢 Step 1:
Write down a word your child often struggles to spell correctly.
🟢 Step 2:
Identify the letter your child frequently forgets or confuses.
🟢 Step 3:
Draw that letter in a way that visually connects to the meaning of the word. For example:
- The word “ήλιος” (sun) could have the letter “ή” drawn like a sun.
- The word “νερό” (water) could have the letter “ρ” shaped like a water droplet.
💡 This technique:
• Enhances memory through visuals
• Connects words with meaning and imagination
• Boosts visual memory and builds your child’s confidence
🎨 Don’t forget! The more your child participates and has fun, the stronger the learning process becomes.
