Parent Coaching Program for Your Child’s First Words

Who It’s For:

This program is for parents of children aged 1.5 to 4 years who are concerned about their child’s speech development or wish to support the emergence of first words in simple and practical ways.
It is ideal for those who want to actively support their child’s early language milestones and are looking for answers to questions like:
– “When should my child start talking?”
– “What can I do at home to help?”
– “Is this delay normal?”

What the Program Offers:

A series of 3 experiential and supportive sessions designed specifically for parents of young children with delayed speech or limited verbal expression.

• Participants will:
• Learn how speech develops typically and when to be concerned
• Be trained in simple, evidence-based techniques to support speech at home
• Receive ideas and materials for integrating communication into daily routines (e.g., bath, meals, play)
• Learn how to use books and play to encourage first words
• Feel more confident and effective in their parenting role

Structure & Schedule:

The program consists of 3 weekly sessions, each 90 minutes long.
Sessions will take place in person at Evlogon in Limassol.
Day & Time: Every Tuesday at 18:30
Maximum number of participants: 8 parents (or couples)

Cost of Participation:

💶 Total cost: €150 (for one or both parents from the same family)

📦 Includes: printed and digital materials (PDF with activity ideas, visual cards, word lists). Also includes a bonus online support session (Q&A) a few days after the program ends, to address questions, discuss home application experiences, and provide additional guidance from the trainer.

👩‍🏫 Maria Lazarou, Speech and Language Therapist (SLP, BSc, M.A.), specialized in early childhood intervention and developmental language disorders. A mother of two, with deep sensitivity to the parental role.
